Studio Revamp!

I've been a little distracted of late with my new arrival and on maternity leave; now things are settling down and routines are forming I am revamping the Lizajdesign studio. No it's not blue stripes it's actually some low tack masking tape in an odd colour blue! The masking tape is required for metallic strips, so I will be taking this off later when the paint has dried. I'm creating a photography area for capturing works and using my latest photography equipment. Oh and there's a sneak preview on my latest canvas collection, completed and ready to launch - watch this space!

The end of Summer...

Autumn is here and what a busy Summer we've had; here's a few pictures of our Summer/ playhouse project in the garden, very pink and purple, all hand painted by myself with a little help from hubby who constructed it together as well!

Inside a carpet has been laid and fully interior decorated by myself- must admit I got a bit carried away, hand sewing curtains with ribbon tiebacks and coordinating applique cushions!

Little Artist At Work!

Over the summer holidays the paints were out in the garden, a design in the making by my little helper!
The castle has wheels on it so it moves! Oh and everything is pink and purple (a favourite colour in our household)!

A Day At School!

On a recent 'parents' help day at my local school, the theme was "Pirates", and how could I say no to the teacher when asked if I could do a HUGE pirate poster! Here is the working result, however soon I had several little helpers (I needed them too, the size of the felt tip nibs compared to the paper size was hard work!) Eventually little fingers drew in some fish and fireworks? coming off the ship, oh and I was asked to draw a girl pirate (a thought for a future design maybe?) Overall a good afternoons work!
